What’s the Deal With Psychedelic Cannabis?

Medical marijuana has continued to become more acceptable across the United States as a form of treatment for individuals struggling with various conditions, including chronic pain and other physical or mental ailments. However, many of the strains of cannabis that are available for legal purchase are non psychedelic. What does this mean?

Well, psychedelic cannabis refers to the way that marijuana can make you feel ‘high’ in a more traditional sense. It is true that different types of marijuana strains have very different effects, which is actually a super good thing. Some strains are perfect for dealing with chronic pain, while others are more apt for addressing anxiety or depression. The important thing to keep in mind is that not all strains are good at all times. Some can do more harm than good if not taken carefully or in the wrong environment.

After all, these are drugs we are talking about here people! Anyways, I wanted to spend some time today to talk about the effects of psychedelic cannabis and give you some more information about what makes it that way. Whether you are seeking to get your hands on some more psychedelic strains of cannabis, or avoid them, you are in the right place!

So for those who don’t  know what makes a cannabis strain psychedelic, I am going to inform you right now. All cannabis (usually) makes you high. However, the experience that you can feel depends greatly on the type of cannabis plant that was consumed. For example, sativa cannabis is a type of plant that can bring feelings of energy, happiness, alertness, and even creativity. Other strains like indica make you tired, ease pain, and address personal stress or anxiety.

Either way, there is a type of cannabis that is best suited for different uses and different individuals. So what are some of the effects of common cannabis strains that would be considered more psychedelic? Well, as we have talked about before, it can be hard to determine just how someone will react to cannabis, as each person is unique in their brain function and bodily responses. However, we can provide you with some of the common effects that psychedelic cannabis users experience regularly when consuming these strains. These things can depend on age, weight, tolerance levels, and a lot of other factors.

One of the most common reported symptoms of psychedelic cannabis is a shift in the time-space continuum. What does this mean? Basically, there is an altered sense of time and expense that you may experience when taking cannabis. Time may feel more frozen, or perhaps you feel like things have completely stopped. In my opinion, this is probably the most sought-after effect of psychedelic cannabis.

Who doesn’t want to feel like a time traveler for a little bit? Another effect of cannabis is reduced motor function, where your body just doesn’t seem to be moving in the way that you would like to. If you have regularly consumed marijuana in your lifetime, there is a high chance that you have experienced this effect of cannabis.

However, it is true that there can be some unwelcome effects from consuming psychedelic cannabis, specifically dealing with a very dry mouth or nausea. This is what we in the business would call a bad time.

No one wants to feel like they need to drink out of the five great lakes, or make an emergency trip to the toilet. Some psychedelic strains of cannabis can be notorious for causing these above symptoms. The last thing that I want to say is that you should always be careful when consuming psychedelic cannabis or any other drug.

Cannabis and Your Senses

Cannabis is something that helps you perceive just how much of the world is right there around where you are.  It can definitely be something that changes the way that you feel, and it can make even just enjoy foods on a whole different levels.

For those who are interested in cannabis, they may learn something new when you activate the senses. Here, we’ll go over how, and what cannabis can do to make them better than ever.

Why the Senses Matter

Senses basically let us experience the world around us in different ways. Our brain is already pretty complex, and we build a whole bunch of different areas around us, and our senses provide a bunch of tasks that are there. It’s something that offers us a chance to protect our body, gets us food, and it also is used to reproduce.

Humans offer five senses, and they are there for us to use. Our brain sits in fluid within our cranium, and the organs relay to systems to behave and also react in proper manners. Every single one of the sensory organs that are ther also works with other organs too, and it’s something that we’ll use to get different receptors, reacting to different stimuli.

How cannabis can affect the senses

It affects them a wide variety of different ways. For taste for example, cannabis makes food taste even better, offering new senses and flavors to absolute amazing levels, and it can be something that creates the munchies in many, especially when they’re high. Cannabis, however, does have a direct effect on the taste receptors, and it’s also something that doesn’t have impact on the way things taste either.

As for touch, touch plays a big part in this.  It is something that does still need a bit of research, but it’s something that is present.  Right now, there’s only a few studies here and there and some participants did say that the herb did make their touch sensitivity increase.

Some people when they smoke mention that their hearing is a bit heightened, which can happen. the plant does let listeners pick up minute details, and everything is much more significant and vibrant too. However, some people may find that THC does dampen the music effects on certain brain regions, which is where the entourage effect comes in with CBD. CBD also can help increase the dopamine, and with music, it can be good.

Sight is another area. Some mention that it helps with night vision, and there were some findings that showed that it can improve the sensitivity and contrast, three-dimensional vision and eye focus. Then there is smell. You may notice that your smell does change, especially with high amounts of this. It can sometimes also reduce the olfactory senses as well, especially if it’s immediately after having a dosage.

Some people they may experience all of this, some of it at all. Cannabis is great for those who want to appreciate the way that food tastes, and also reduces the olfactory and visuals in some people as well. Some people also may notice that CBD weed does impact the way we appreciate music. However, this is something that’s still getting a lot of updates, since it’s still much too early about the cannabis effects on the body and the like. It’s something that  even though we’re still learning about it, there is a lot to take in, and we may learn that there are certain things we enjoy much more that we’ve had some weed, and it can change our perspective too.

Cannabis Bloom busters

Growing weed may seem like a challenge from an outsider’s perspective, with many plant species growing perfectly with the least amount of intervention. You may wonder why cannabis requires so much more so that it doesn’t get messed up. You may wonder if it’s absolutely needed. However, because it’s a good cash crop, many people who grow this are willing to put the money in there to have good plants, and the success in a market that’s thriving is something that promises harvest through the use of a bottle.

Bloom busters are something that’s commonly used to help cannabis plants get the growth that they want, but there is some controversy surrounding this. Here, we’ll go over what they are, and if they’re worth it.

The controversy

There is some controversy with these, even though they are supposedly filled with the nutrients necessary to have resinous buds that have a ton of cannabinoids.  The major controversy involves the redundancy and the salt buildup. Bloom busters do have nutrients via salts, and this is something that is created through reactions of acids with a base, and a lot of these are soluble via water.

There are tons of salts out there, and while they usually are beneficial due to the nutrients that they offer, and that they can fix a lot of the problems with a plant, a buildup of this is what creates a problem for the item that’s growing. Usually, when it has too much salt, it can impact the nutrients of the plant, making it more acidic, blocking out a bunch of nutrients, and creating nutrient lockout and burning of the tissues in the plants. Because there are such high concentrations of this, some people don’t believe that this is a good option for growing plants.

Do plants need this?

Some people may think that they do, the same way that you buy different health and food compounds even though you don’t necessarily need this. Bloom busters aren’t necessarily useless, but they’re not needed in every single circumstance. For example, if you look in the woods, you notice that everything’s growing just fine without the use of fertilizers, since the interactions of the organisms, both micro and macro organisms can definitely help create better nutrient cycling, and this is something that helps all of these plants grow

Nitrogen is one f the most common examples, and it’s something that helps a lot of plants grow, and it’s something that a lot of microorganisms, including worms and whatnot, are able to eat.  Usually, in wild plants the nitrogen in the ties us aboveground get broken down.

Nitrogen is something that does get immobilized in a lot of creatures bodies, and then it gets mineralized to become ammonia, and then become nitrates that are plant types. Those cells that are in microorganisms and other compounds play a huge part of the nutrient cycling, allowing for the plants to thrive. The growers can improve this by keeping their roots within the ground after harvesting, mulching, sowing these crops that are on the cover, and not using tilling.  When cannabis is growing a lot, bloom boosters do become redundant in most cases, but sometimes, this is a good way to boost the system.

Bloom busters are good for cannabis plants if you want to give the plants a little bit more power to flower better. Those that are starting from nothing, or are beginners, may want to consider using these cocktails for improving the soil life, and through the compounds within, they’re able to create larger, more profound cannabis products that do benefit their yield.
